This is the famous "Behind the Walls" home, which was built in Atlanta for the 2001 International Builders' Show to demonstrate the ease of use and structural efficiency of structural insulated panels (SIPs).
The classically styled, traditional home is fronted by stacked porches--both 7'-4" deep.
Inside, the main floor living areas flow into each other; at the rear of the home, a complete suite awaits an in-law or boomerang child.
The master suite and third bedroom are on the upper floor, along with a cozy play area for the little ones.
Design by Danze & Davis Architects, Inc.
