Georgian House Plans: Categorized under the umbrella of Colonial house plans, Georgian house plans are symmetrical, tasteful and historic-looking, often with dentils under the eaves. The Georgian house plan (1700-1776) tends to be more grandiose, with a massive, sturdy appearance. Georgian house plans sometimes have a third story, or at least the appearance of one. An elaborate entrance, shuttered windows, a hip roof and brick are common in Georgian house plans.
