Lisa Dyer's words are ones we've heard many times before, and

She's talking about Plan L-73-VB, a regal, Queen Anne Victorian
by Texas home designer Larry Garnett. Lisa chose it because it
"has lots of personality," so much so that her neighbors
have dubbed it "the castle" for its turrets and
fanciful details.
Lisa's home-building story went well from the start. "Ordering
L-73-VB was easy and the price was fair," she says. The
construction process—at least with respect to her blueprints—went
smoothly, too: "Not one subcontractor had a problem."
With a few modifications, the house soon fit this medical
professional to a T. Lisa names the master bath, the windows,
and the high-interest peaks and angles as her favorite
features. And her $150-per-month electric bill bears testament
to the convergence of a quality design and a quality-conscious
builder.
"It's a wonderful plan," says Lisa. "So many people
love my house!"
