Neotraditional
The Neotraditional style attempts to accurately reflect the characteristics of historical architecture. Classic, well-proportioned exteriors, many with porches to foster interaction with neighbors and passersby, have proven timeless over the years. The Neotraditional home shows off its facade as it de-emphasizes the garage with recessed, side- or rear-loading vehicle entries. Private outdoor spaces are also a characteristic of the Neotraditional style, and are created with the use of strategically laid-out floor plans. Raised foundations are also commonly featured. |
