The Eastern Bluebird is a small thrush, with a chestnut breast and throat. Male bluebirds, such as the one detailed here, are deep blue on the head, back, wings, and tail. We think this print captures the bluebird in all its beautiful glory. The illustrator, Ralph A. Mark, Jr, is long-known for his highly detailed wildlife illustrations. His work often appears in The Progressive Farmer. An Auburn University graduate, he is an avid bass fisherman. His wildlife artwork is among the best you'll find anywhere.
